My Moment to Yours

Zazen Matcha began with my first journey to Japan.

I joined traditional tea ceremonies and immersed myself in Japanese culture. At the same time, I had already been practicing meditation for years and exploring different spiritual practices.

In Japan I realized: Matcha is more than a drink. It is a ceremony in everyday life. A small moment to pause, to be present, and to celebrate life as it is.

The energy we bring into preparing matcha is the energy we receive back — joy, calm, and clarity. The moment of Zen doesn’t start when we drink it. It begins in the preparation, in the intention, in making everyday life a ceremony.
